The Pennsylvania Justice Network (JNET) announced that it has awarded a five year 33.7 million dollar contract to Diverse Technologies Corporation (DTC). DTC is a Pennsylvania certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and will administer this contract from its office location in Mechanicsburg, PA. This award is the largest ever granted to an MBE in Pennsylvania.
As part of these services, DTC will provide JNET with Program Management, Architecture & Engineering Support, Application Development, Quality Assurance, Training and Communications Support. These services have been supplied in the past by multiple vendors, and have now been consolidated into one contract with DTC as the prime contractor. DTC will operate this contract along with its subcontractors, Unisys Corporation and Transfer Technology, Inc.
This new contract goes along with Governor Rendell’s commitment to provide more opportunities for MBE/WBE firms in PA.
“We are very pleased to be selected as the prime contractor supporting JNET on all of its critical public safety initiatives”, said Diverse Technologies Corporation President, Stephen Mills. “In addition, we are excited to be a part of Governor Rendell’s initiative to assist small businesses in Pennsylvania.
DTC’s contract with JNET spans three years with the option to extend for two one-year periods.
