UPPER MARLBORO, Md. - Jan. 31, 2002 -
Diverse Technologies Corporation (DTC), a dynamic professional
services provider to private industry and federal, state and local governments announced today the appointment of Frances Litten as Vice President of Business Development.
Litten heads up marketing for Diverse
Technologies and its proposal efforts targeting commercial and
local, state and federal clients in the company’s three core areas
of business: information technology, financial management and logistics support. Based in Mechanicsburg, Pa., Litten also oversees the company’s recruitment efforts.
“Fran brings great enthusiasm and energy to
this position - augmenting her top-notch experience in this field,”
said O. Tyrone Barnett, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of DTC.
“We look forward to the great things Fran will do in this venture. We expect her to help bring Diverse Technologies to a new playing field.”
Founded in 1988 by Navy Commander O. Tyrone
Barnett (retired), Diverse Technologies was proud to graduate from
the Small Business Administration’s 8(a) program in January 2000 and became a recognized and proficient Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) in Pennsylvania.
Litten, who joined the company in 1996 as a
senior information engineer, brings 17 years of experience in
information technology. Her diverse experience includes work in
program direction, project management, software development, systems
analysis and design and business process reengineering. In addition,
she has developed expertise in programming, documentation and training on computer applications within various client server and Web environments, and large IBM mainframe environments.
Prior to joining DTC, Litten worked in
information technology departments for numerous large companies, including Pennsylvania Blue Shield, Woolworth Corp. and the Book-of-the Month Club, a division of AOL Time Warner.
She is a member of the Technology Council of Central Pennsylvania. Litten holds a bachelor’s of science degree in computer science from Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania.
