Diverse Technologies Corp. (DTC) is pleased to announce that is has been awarded a Cognos Consulting Services Contract for the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime Delinquency (PCCD).
DTC will be priming this PCCD project that is being designed and developed to provide immediate and easy access to criminal justice data. This access will be helpful for analysis, planning, and, in some cases, funding of criminal justice initiatives. Through application and technical support, DTC will help the PCCD build criminal justice data repositories and business intelligence reports using COGNOS Business Intelligence Tools.
The PCCD, formed by a statute, is an administrative commission created to help prevent and reduce crime through monetary and expertise support. The Commission assists the criminal and juvenile justice systems by striving to increase productivity and effectiveness, promote local initiatives and efforts, encourage application of new public safety and justice technologies, and deal with justice activities not covered by other agencies or commissions.
Coupled with DTC support and training of PCCD personnel, the generated analysis reports resulting from this contract will benefit Court personnel, District Attorneys, criminal justice planners and researchers in Commonwealth and beyond.
