As a subcontractor to Nortel Government Solutions, Diverse Technologies Corporation provides subject matter expertise and functional/analytical project support on a Maryland Consulting and Technical Services (CATS) project for the Maryland State Police.
DTC resources are active members of the Maryland Enterprise CAD/RMS/AFR Project as subject matter experts regarding law enforcement interoperability. DTC resources also provide key functional and analytical services for the team such as analyzing and documenting project requirements, drafting content for Needs Assessment, RFI and RFP documentation, and assisting the prime contractor and client in identifying and selecting industry leaders in CAD/RMS/AFR solution providers.
The State of Maryland desires to upgrade the existing Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD), Records Management Systems (RMS), and Automated Field Reporting (AFR) systems of its state law enforcement agencies to an integrated, enterprise solution. Additionally, this solution must comply and integrate with Maryland’s Public Safety Interoperability plan.
This effort is procured through the Maryland Consulting and Technical Services (CATS) contracting vehicle, is led by the Maryland State Police (MSP), and includes on the executive working committee the Governor’s Office on Crime Control and Prevention (GOCCP), the Maryland Transit Authority (MdTA) Police, the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) Police, the Maryland Department of Natural Resources (MDNR) Police, the Maryland Aviation Administration (MAA), the Maryland State Highway Administration (MSHA), the Maryland Emergency Management Agency (MEMA), the Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT), and the Maryland Department of General Services (MDGS).
